Dr. Avis Williams, Superintendent, (first woman to be the permanent Superintendent of schools in Orleans Parish) NOLA Public Schools in New Orleans and Mr. Green, Principal, McDonogh #35 providing words at the assembly. Activity 1 of 4 separate activities was a hit for the Class of 2023. Cynthia Delone provided an outstanding speech to the faculty of McDonogh #35, and Gregory Phillips provided an outstanding speech to the students of Class 2023. The Activity 1 Committee was invited back to the school for future student involved events.
